CHRISTMAS DAY!

Here are the kids on Christmas morning. We stayed home again this year for Christmas day and then did our travels afterwards. It is always fun to wake up on Christmas morning at home and see the kids excitement. Dane was more excited with the wrapping paper. Brielle was really in to dolls this year. Wyatt really wanted the white tiger and scooter. Breydon was excited about the roller blades and loves to play with the legos.

SNOW!!

We got dumped on! It was amazing how much snow came down and it just kept coming. It was great because it was not a wet snow like it usually is. This snow was very light and dry. We couldn't really make any snowballs out of it and the fort didn't hold together very well, but it was still a lot of fun. Because it was not wet, though, he boys and I were able to stay out for about 3 hours playing in it and stayed warm. We ended up getting about a foot of snow from this first storm.

Brielle turning 4!

On to Brielle's birthday. While all this was happening, we were being dumped on with snow. That made it all even more exciting. We had a group of her friends over to the house and played games, did crafts, decorated cupcakes and other cute little "girlie" things. This is a fun age because they are changing from the toddler stage to the little girl stage. It was a lot of fun to hear their comments and just see the way they interacted with each other. Our little princess is growing up! (sniff, sniff)

Wyatt's 6th Birthday

Wyatt's birthday on the 18th is the start of a very hectic 2 weeks. We try to make it as fun for him as we can while trying to keep Brielle's birthday and Christmas all separated. He was able to have a bunch of his friends over and we took them up to the church and played games with them. The theme for his party was Kung Fu Panda. That is why they are all wearing the bandanas. We set up a Kung Fu obstacle course for them and then also let them practice their chops on a piƱata. It was a fun time.
