This summer we went to Sunriver again with the Gilberts. We tend to gravitate back there quite often because there's so much to do and everyone loves it.
Every year that we go to Sunriver we attempt to get everyone on bikes and have a family bike ride. This is quite a challenge (being that there are 33 of us) but is always fun. We look like a never ending row of ants as we circle the bikepaths. The boys thought it would be fun to do a survey of all the bikers that we passed and ask them their favorite color and food to see what the most popular was. We got to know many people on that ride. This is a bridge over the Deschutes River that we always bike to and take a family picture. It's always beautiful there.
We're on our way to float the river. The kids are all excited but don't know how cold the water really is! Brrr!
Bikes, Bikes, Bikes. We couldn't keep them off their bikes. Dane had just made the move from his hotwheel to a "big boy" bike with training wheels right before the trip. Much to my dismay, the many older boys and girls on speeding bikes did not intimidate him at all, but instead became his racing opponents. Luckily he survived.

Grandpas read stories, give 4-wheeler rides, and pour water on unsuspecting little boys. We love grandpas!
