The boys got to try some new activities this spring. Wyatt tried flag football for the first time and really enjoyed trying to get the flags. We had to work a little bit with him to make sure he was going the right direction. One time he caught the ball and started to run the wrong direction. He ended coming clear back across the field and made a positive gain out of it. Considering he was the youngest on a team of 6 - 8 year olds, he did a great job. He even caught a pass and scored a touchdown in one of his last games.
Breydon enjoyed his first experience with track. He wasn't too sure about it to begin with, especially after running the 800 and 400 in his first track meet. After running a couple shorter races, though, you could see him catch the competitive bug. In his last meet, he took 1st place in the long jump and will be competing in the State Meet in Olympia at the end of the month. Yeah Breydon!!!!!DOWN! SET! HIKE!As you can see, the huddles didn't hold Wyatt's attention much. That's ok, though. At least I got him to wave for the camera.Opening Ceremonies at the Hershey Track Meet.Jump Breydon, jump! Go go gadget springs! Here's the winning form. This is where he won to go to the state meet.
